Summary
World Puzzle keeps everything on your phone. This release stores your name, your balances and your solved puzzles in one private file inside the game, and it has nothing to send that file to: there is no account, no sign-up, no leaderboard and no server.
The game contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting service, so nothing is collected about you and no usage report leaves the device.
This page describes the build offered on this website. It was last checked against version 3.7.0 (build 2).
What is stored on your phone
- The player name you type the first time the game opens. It is used to greet you and appears on the level-completion banner.
- Your coin balance, your key balance, and how many hints you have used.
- The level you are on, the highest level you have reached, and which levels are finished.
- For every level: the words you have placed, the tiles a hint opened, and the extra words you claimed.
- Whether sound effects and music are switched on.
How it is stored
All of it goes into one small database file in the game's own private area on the phone, where other apps cannot read it. Each solved word, each hint and each reward is written down as it happens, and a reward is written together with the board it came from, so switching the game off mid-word cannot lose progress or pay a level out twice.
Nothing you type is transmitted anywhere: the name field is written to that file and to nothing else. Clearing the game's storage, or uninstalling the game, deletes the file and with it all of the above.
What is not collected
The game does not ask for and does not keep your email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, location, camera, microphone or advertising identifier, and it has no way to transmit any of them. It also has no payment integration: it cannot see a donation you have made, and it never asks for a Mobile Money PIN or banking details.
Permissions this build asks for
The installed game is not given permission to reach the internet, so the operating system will refuse any attempt by it to contact a server. Two further permissions come along with the video and audio playback the game uses: one lets that playback check whether a connection exists, and one lets it keep the device awake while the opening videos play. Neither can read your saved progress, and neither can put it anywhere. The game also holds one private permission that only the game itself can use, to keep its own internal messages inside the app.
One deliberate exception: the Support page can hand a blank message to your own email app. The game writes no message and sends nothing - your email app takes over from there, and you see and control what it sends.
Third-party parts of the game
The playback and storage parts the game is assembled from are freely licensed open-source components; they belong to their own authors, are used under their own licence terms, and none of them reports anything home. The words, puzzles, artwork, sounds and text you see here are original to Engero Games, and the lettering is the typeface your device already provides.
A future backup or sync
A later version may offer to back your progress up to a server so you can carry it to another phone. That option would be off by default, would ask you before the first upload, and would only ever move the values listed above - never anything else about you. Playing would stay fully possible with no connection at all, and a newer save on your phone would never be replaced by an older copy from a server.
Children
The game is made to be safe for all ages: no chat, no external links, no in-app purchases and no personal information taken from anyone. If you are a parent, a teacher or a store reviewer and would like something changed, the address below reaches the developer directly.
